"TFG goes west" and expands its range of services towards western container ports

As of October 18, 2019, TFG Transfracht will be integrating the western container port of Rotterdam into its network as the logical next step in its internationalization strategy. Europe's largest deep-sea container port now follows Koper as the second port that TFG has inducted into its AlbatrosExpress rail network this year.

Western container port transports are executed in a partnership with CMA CGM, one of the worlds leading shipping and logistics companies. TFG is continuing to focus on customer-specific logistics solutions in maritime transport. DB Cargo with integrate these trains into its international rail operations.

At the same time, TFG continues to expand its wide-ranging network and is adding two new container terminals, Duisburg and Ludwigshafen. In the future, AlbatrosExpress trains will be traveling between Rotterdam, Dortmund, Duisburg and Ludwigshafen six times a week. With this international structure and a new range of services through the west, north and south container ports, this specialist for containerized seaport hinterland transport is delivering transport solutions that meet the needs of its customers on a daily basis.
