Teraport GmbH, a Company belonging to caatoosee ag, presented its solutions for digital product development to a broad specialist public at the 11th technical automobile conference – Virtual Vehicle Creation 2007 – in Stuttgart. The general focal themes of this conference were automobile design, digital product development and the quality assurance thereof. This year a large number of highly qualified specialists again attended this conference and they were able in the numerous specialist discussions to exchange their respective views on the current tasks in this field.
Technical lecture “Quality assurance on digital prototypes”
The technical lecture held by Hermann Gaigl covered new technologies and the optimization of existing processes. The lecture was based on actual OEM projects and addressed approaches to solutions to meet the future challenges in digital product development. The immediate response to the lecture showed that it hit the nail right on the head. The discussions which took place at our information booth also speak for the fact that the high level of complexity in product development can only be managed with DMU technology. With these tools one can, for example, identify geometric differences or carry out automatic geometry testing of complete digital prototypes, etc. In the résumé of his impressions of the conference, Hermann Gaigl, Managing Director of Teraport GmbH concluded: “The numerous discussions which took place at this two-day event have shown us that our products can help both the OEMs and the suppliers to manage their problem areas.
