Thomas Krieger, the Indian Country Chairman, was likewise delighted. “With Reddy we have someone who deeply understands the Indian market as well as the global testing industry. We believe that together with Reddy, Tentamus will have a successful market entrance in 2019”.
Tentamus’ India Strategy foresees to develop testing capabilities for pharma and food in Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai and Pune. Over the years, Tentamus has established strong relationships with food and pharma laboratories across India, which qualify as strategic partners for Tentamus’ India strategy. “We are still looking for a suitable partner in India. At the same time, we are looking at free land, where we could build a start-up lab. We would prefer a mix of a partnership with a local laboratory and an organic growth strategy. However, independent of the strategy, I am sure that Tentamus will set foot on Indian ground in 2019“, Country CEO Reddy said.
India will be Tentamus second largest single country market, after the Chinese market.
