The milestones achieved were the following:
Five years ago, Laboratorio Kudam (based in Alicante) launched the Nutritional Composition area, achieving accreditation for most of the mandatory nutrition labeling of Regulation (EU) 1169/2011 tests for several food groups.
The KUDAM Laboratory had its accreditation of the different nutritional composition parameters extended to all foods (except dairy and alcoholic beverages) for mandatory labeling. Kudam can now offer the following accredited tests:
- Moisture by gravimetry in food
- Ash by gravimetry in food
- Fat by gravimetric food gravimetry
- Total nitrogen and protein by volumetric measurement in feedingstuffs
- Carbohydrates by food analysis
- Energy value by food analysis
- Sodium by ICP-MS in food
- Sugars by ion chromatography in foods
- Fatty acids by GC-FID in foods
This accreditation is a significant step forward for Laboratorio Kudam in continuously improving its analytical offer.

Dolmar Laboratory (Tentamus laboratory located in La Rioja, specialized in quality control of wine and other spirits)has also achieved a recent extension of its ENAC scope with new determinations and matrix expansion. The new scope includes:
- Overpressure at 20°C in the bottle or can for the matrices: wine, wine-based beverages, beer, cider and carbonated beverages.
- Total sugars in wine-derived beverages and spirits other than wine.
- Free and total sulfur dioxide (sulfites) in wine, wine-based beverages, beer, cider, vinegar and spirits by FlCS.
- The alcohol content in beer, cider and spirits by IR Spectroscopy.
- Mass volume, total dry extract, in cider and beer, in beer, in addition, real extract, apparent extract and primitive dry extract.
- Alcoholic strength by Chromatography (Ethanol) for non-alcoholic beverages and 0,0: De-alcoholised wine, wine-derived beverages, must, beer, cider, vinegar, non-alcoholic liquors, juices and soft drinks.
- Sodium and potassium in wine, must, cider, beer, vinegar, spirits, soft drinks and pulp-free juices.
- Caffeine in soft drinks, fermented beverages and energy drinks.
- Extension of Ochratoxin A matrices to beer, juices and vinegar; 4-ethylphenol and 4-ethylguaiacol to beer and cider and the preservatives: sorbic acid, benzoic acid and salicylic acid to wine-derived beverages.
Finally, Labocor Analítica (Tentamus laboratory based in Madrid, specialized in animal feed) also got a recent extension of their ENAC scope for the determination of crude fiber by gravimetry in animal feed.
