SimBox of Telemotive AG

High-capacity tool for the CAN rest bus simulation

(PresseBox) (München, )
18. January 2012 – 4th Int. Automotive Electronics Technology Expo (Tokyo, January 18-20): Due to the strong interlinking between the different electronic control units (ECUs) it gets more and more important to test how a new ECU interacts in combination with the other ECUs of a system. For such tests, e. g. during the development of a new ECU prototype, all ECUs need to be physically available or a part of them will be simulated. This might for example be necessary if the new ECU or other ECUs of the system are not available in time. For the simulation of simple ECUs expensive software or over dimensioned devices are frequently used. With the new SimBox Telemotive AG offers a cost-efficient alternative for this.
The SimBox simulates the distribution of CAN messages of an ECU that does not exist physically. Such simulated ECUs could for example be the window lifter, the electronic ignition switch or the sensor for light and darkness. The transmission of spontaneous or periodic CAN messages is controlled by 24 programmable function keys. Visit us at our stand in “Hall East, Number E14-10. We look forward to seeing you.
