TECHART light alloy and forged wheels - new attractive options for colors and finishes

(PresseBox) (Leonberg, )
At this year's Essen Motor Show from 1 to 9 December 2012, TECHART will display the new attractive finish and color options for its high-quality, broad range of forged and light alloy wheels.

TECHART Formula II and Formula II GTR light alloy wheels

The TECHART Formula II light alloy wheel in a classic, elegant 5-spoke design is available in two wheel versions of between 19- and 23-inches. The Formula II GTR monoblock wheel impresses with an appealing color combination of a star rim with a black high-gloss coating and a wheel rim in a matt meteor grey. The classic TECHART Formula II light alloy wheel features an additional replaceable outer rim made of polished stainless steel that protects the wheel against damage, for example, against contact with a kerbstone or another obstacle. It is available in the following colours: Shiny Silver, Mercury or in the GTS version in a glossy black coating. Of course, there is also the option of matching the color of the star rim to the color of the vehicle or to the driver's individual taste.

TECHART Formula III forged wheels

The TECHART Formula III forged wheel is available in 19- to 22-inches as well as in numerous different colours and surfaces. The particularly low weight of the forged wheel and the connected reduction in unsprung mass contribute to an immediate increase in driving dynamics. The high stability and density of the forged light alloy makes it possible to significantly reduce the material thickness and to design the double spokes to be particularly delicate and sophisticated.

In addition to the classic choice of colors in sporty sterling silver or other monoor multi-colored individual coatings, TECHART offers its clients more exciting options as of now. After extensive ceramic polishing, the TECHART Formula III forged wheel displays a fine high-gloss surface. This is currently the polishing method of the highest quality for final processing of the wheel. The surface of the forged wheel is not only polished, but also cured. This makes the surface sturdier and easier to maintain as well, and guarantees long-term durability and wear resistance. The TECHART Formula Race forged centerlock wheel is also available in 20-inches and ceramic polishing.

Alternatively, TECHART offers the Formula III forged wheel in an bi-color variation in high-sheen/anthracite. With this manufacturing method, the entire wheel rim is coated in the base color anthracite and then the front face is covered with a diamond. This involves working from the hub cap until the outermost part where the star starts in order to achieve the unique bi-color scheme of the wheel rim.
