The most popular tuning brands in Switzerland were honoured within the Auto Zurich Car Show. The reason was the reader's choice of the journal auto-illustrierte. The TECHART GTStreet R based on the Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet secured number one spot in the category Cabrio & Roadster. Two additional awards were gained by the TECHART Individualization Program for the Porsche Panamera Turbo (Limousines) as well as the TECHART GTStreet RS based on the Porsche 911 GT2 (Sportscars & Coupes).
With the most votes of the more than 68,000 readers, who took part in the Sportscar of the year voting of Auto Bild Sportscars, the GTStreet R Cabriolet has won the category of Cabriolet Tuning and took its place on the winner's podium.
The GTStreet R has convinced the readers with a sportive and aerodynamic exterior design in an elegant white style. The essential features of the TECHART GTStreet R are among other things the front apron GTR, with an integrated carbon splitter, or the rear spoiler GT which is fitted with winglets and a carbon gurney flap. In the in-house saddlery every GTStreet R gets its sporty and hand-made interior. The hand-stitched TECHART 3-spoke sport steering wheel with the TECHART paddle shifters as well as the high-quality TECHART sport seats give the driver the feeling of uncompromising sportiness. Fitted with the power kit TA 097/T2 an engine performance of 620 hp and a maximum torque of 820 Nm are available, which allocates the car in 2.9 seconds from 0-100 km/h.
