Im vierten Quartal stieg der Umsatz um 11,7 Prozent zum Vorjahreszeitraum auf 4,97 Milliarden US-Dollar. Der Zuwachs gegenüber dem dritten Quartal beträgt 3,9 Prozent oder 185 Millionen US-Dollar – die höchste Zunahme in einem vierten Quartal des Unternehmens bisher. Ausschlaggebend für das Wachstum sind vor allem die hohe Nachfrage nach digitalen Dienstleistungen sowie große Transformationsprojekte.
So trugen digitale Dienstleistungen im vierten Quartal 23,8 Prozent zum Umsatz bei, ein Wachstum von 42,8 Prozent im Vergleich zum Vorjahresquartal.
Besonders stark war das Wachstum mit 19,1 Prozent in Kontinentaleuropa und Großbritannien (+10,7 Prozent).
Das Unternehmen beschäftigt weltweit mehr als 394.000 Mitarbeiter aus 135 Ländern. Im Rahmen der internen Weiterbildungen und der Investitionen in eine Lernplattform haben über 247.000 Mitarbeiter Trainings für digitale Technologien absolviert, über 208.000 für agile Entwicklungsmethoden.
