TARMLED 4x4 wurde auf der diesjährigen LIGHT 2008 in Warschau mit dem Preis für das innovativste Produkt 2008 ausgezeichnet. Thomas Lottig, einer der beiden Entwickler des Systems, erhielt den Preis von der Jury mit dem Kommentar "the brightest thing we have ever seen".

TARMLED 4x4 ist weltweit das einzige modulare und voll videofähige LED-System in welchem RGB-Highpower LEDs (3 in 1 SMD, 3 W) zum Einsatz kommen. Das System erfüllt aufgrund seiner passiven Kühlung die Schutzklasse IP65 und die gesamte Elektronik ist in jedem Tile (418mm x 418mm) integriert.

Die tarm LED GmbH & Co. KG stellt auf der light+building vom 06. - 11.04.2008 in Frankfurt Halle 4.2, Gang K, Stand 60 aus.
