Our in-house show with this year's slogan "Technology Days 2009" which took place from May 7 - 13, 2009 was exceptionally well attended. The attendance of industrial customers was higher than ever before. The reason for this may be the fact that highly productive companies have to look ahead more than ever. The worldwide competition as well as the pressure to be more cost effective requires an increase in performance of machine technology.
TAMPOPRINT® AG considers itself as a system provider and is in a position to create progress. The focus of the industrial customers fell on automations and special machines.
Customers were especially interested in the fully automatic machine "HSC" High Speed Circular - all-around printing technology (patent pending) as well as the high-performance fully automatic machine for aluminium LongCaps "TOPSPIN LC". Both automations could be seen in operation. Our product group ALFALAS® laser systems registered an increased interest in the UV laser technology for marking plastics in highest quality.
Our new ink/doctoring cups "ClipLock®"" with lid and the new 200 ml tubes for tampon printing inks which were just introduced in our delivery programme were in great demand. Two newly developed magnetic printing clichés from TAMPOPRINT® which can be laser engraved were also presented and expand the range of printing clichés for high-precision printing images.
Special interest was given to our service departments such as pre-press, cliché production and application engineering. The fact that TAMPOPRINT® has a comprehensive machine program as well as 6 Million Euro worth of inventory of accessories, consumables, and spare parts, impressed our visitors and generated confidence in the strength of TAMPOPRINT®.
Special presentations and the availability of different payment and financing models as well as maintenance plans, framework and guarantee agreements for those who were interested completed the "Technology Days". The machine showroom which was established specifically for the "Technology Days" will be made permanent and will give every visitor a chance to see our complete range of products in person. A high-quality, permanent exhibition made-in-Germany, from one source ultimately benefits our customers.
