SYSGO picks Nohau as Distributor for Nordic Countries

SYSGO and Nohau have signed a distribution agreement allowing Nohau to offer SYSGO's products to customers in Norway, Sweden and Denmark exclusively

SYSGO and Nohau have signed a distribution agreement allowing Nohau to offer SYSGO's products to customers in Norway, Sweden and Denmark exclusively. Nohau will bring SYSGO's hypervisor PikeOS and the embedded Linux distribution ELinOS to the local embedded market. Together, the companies will serve manufacturers in the development of safe and secure devices for the Internet of Things.

"Local presence is important for a successful and reliable long-term cooperation with our customers, especially when their applications are focused on solutions for safe and secure applications," explains Norbert Kuhrt, VP of Sales at SYSGO. "We are happy to get Nohau on board as a distributor and certified partner for our activities in Norway, Sweden and Denmark." Kuhrt is sure that Nohau's experience in the local embedded market combined with SYSGO's product portfolio will provide optimized solutions to customers looking for virtualization in safe and secure applications. ELinOS Industrial Grade Linux

ELinOS is an embedded Linux distribution purpose-built for the use in industrial applications. The integrated development environment is tailored to the specific requirements of embedded systems and comes with board support packages for the most successful hardware of the embedded market. ELinOS aims at the timesaving and cost-efficient use of Linux in the embedded field. The product is supplemented by training classes and project-oriented support by experienced developers.

PikeOS Hypervisor

PikeOS is a hypervisor especially made for embedded systems. With real-time, virtualization and partitioning, it provides all the features needed to build todays multi-functional and high-integrated devices. Its security architecture creates a foundation for critical systems allowing official approval by the authorities and certification according to international functional safety standards. PikeOS is the only European software platform for smart devices in the Internet of Things. It provides an optimized solution for applications and devices that have to be certified to international standards like DO178B/C, IEC61508, EN50128, ISO26262, IEC62304, IEC60880 and others. PikeOS is MILS compliant, and is currently involved in various security standard Common Criteria EAL 5/6 certification projects. Recently PikeOS achieved the first EN 50128 SIL 4 certification of the market on a multi-core system.
