Mit steigendem Risiko für Schäden sind höhere Anforderungen an die Sicherheit von sicherheitstechnischen Einrichtungen verbunden. Die Norm IEC/DIN 61508 definiert vier Sicherheitsstufen, die Maßnahmen zur Risikominimierung beschreiben. PCB Piezotronics bietet SIL2-zertifizierte Vibrationstransmitter der Serie 64x an, einschließlich der für den EX-Bereich zugelassenen Modelle. Neben den zertifizierten Vibrationstransmittern gehören ebenfalls SIL2-zertifizierte ICP/IEPE-Vibrationssensoren der Serie 62x zum Lieferprogramm.

Die PCB Synotech GmbH ist die deutsche Vertriebstochter des US-amerikanischen Sensorherstellers PCB Piezotronics, Inc. und seit über 25 Jahren am Markt tätig. Neben der breiten Produktpalette von PCB vertreibt PCB Synotech hochwertige Sensorik und Messtechnik der Hersteller IMI Sensors, The Modal Shop, Larson Davis, Endevco, Setra Systems, Onset und Kemo.
