Ein ideales Hilfsmittel zur Ermittlung der Drehzahl bei Vibrationsuntersuchungen ist der Laser-Tachometer Modell LaserTach™ LT2 von The Modal Shop. Der Sensor ermöglicht eine Jitter-freie Erfassung von Drehzahlen bis 100.000 U/min bei einem Abstand von max. 50 cm. Der Tachometer wird an einer ICP®-/IEPE-Schnittstelle betrieben (Konstantstrom ab 2 mA) und gibt die Drehzahl als Pulsfrequenz aus.
