Bei einem so genannten 419-Scam nutzten die Cybergangster kürzlich wieder das FIFA-Großereignis als Köder. Bei dieser schon länger bekannten Masche werden arglosen E-Mail-Empfängern enorme Geldsummen versprochen. Um an das Geld zu kommen, müssen sie aber immer mit relativ hohen Beträgen in Vorleistung gehen. Die jetzt aufgefallene Mail-Welle verspricht Gewinne von 1,5 Millionen Pfund und beruft sich dabei auf die Weltmeisterschaft - und zwar 2022 in Qatar. Dass das Ereignis noch mehr als zehn Jahre in der Zukunft liegt und noch zwei weitere globale Fußballturniere davor stattfinden, bereitet den Gangstern dabei offenbar kein Kopfzerbrechen.
