SITS Group welcomes Jens Rüster as CEO Germany

With Jens Rüster, the European organization Swiss IT Security Group (SITS Group) appoints an internationally experienced CEO for Germany.

With immediate effect, Jens Rüster is appointed to the Executive Board of the SITS Group as CEO Germany.

After studying economics, Jens Rüster began his successful career in 1999 at the corporate headquarters of Debis Systemhaus. In 2001, as a member of the Post Merger Integration Team he moved to the new founded T-Systems and quickly gained his first international experience.

After working in various positions within T-Systems in Europe, the former competitive athlete with a great interest in digitalization, customer experience and AI, became a member of the executive board of the System Integration division in 2008. There he took over responsibility for the international business in 16 subsidiaries. After more than 20 successful years at T-Systems, Jens Rüster moved in 2021 to the French IT consulting company Devoteam S.A. Here, as a member of the executive board, he was responsible for the successful development of the global ServiceNow business until he followed the call of Swiss IT Security Group.

"With his proven expertise in the areas of cloud computing, IT service management, IT outsourcing and his international experience, Jens Rüster is the ideal person to join the team in the role of CEO Germany and will continue to drive our successful growth strategy as a problem solver in the area of cybersecurity", says Dr. Christian Oversohl, CEO of SITS Group AG.
