SVOX, the leading provider of embedded speech solutions, today announced that Udo Haiber will join the company as the head of Professional Services, according to SVOX CEO Martin Reber. Based in Munich and Ulm, Germany, Mr. Haiber will serve as a managing director of SVOX Deutschland GmbH. In the SVOX management team he will be responsible for customer projects as well as further development of Speech Output and Speech Dialog technologies.
Mr. Haiber comes to SVOX from HarmanBecker Automotive Systems where he was most recently leading the Speech Dialog unit and prior to that the Speech Recognition group. Before HarmanBecker Mr. Haiber held various management positions at DaimlerChrysler. He holds Ph.D. and M.Sc. degrees in Mathematics from the University of Ulm.
