SVOX, the leading provider of embedded speech solutions, today announced immediate availability of Speech Recognition and Speech Output solutions as part of the Microsoft Auto 4.0 platform, according to company’s CEO Martin Reber. Customers that use the Microsoft Auto platform can enable speech in their products by deploying SVOX Automotive ASR and SVOX Automotive TTS in various configurations.

Both SVOX Automotive ASR and SVOX Automotive TTS offer broad language coverage and support Microsoft Speech API (SAPI v5.4.1). The solutions are distinguished by unique polyglot capabilities: recognition of words and phrases originating from several languages (ASR) and the ability of the same voice can speak multiple languages like a native speaker (TTS).
