"2007 was a very successful year for SVOX. More automotive systems and mobile devices have been sold than ever before with SVOX TTS inside", said Mr. Jantzen, CEO of Zurich-based SVOX AG when announcing the 2007 revenue growth of more 144 percent this morning. He confidently added: "Our extraordinary growth will continue in 2008. Most of our 2008 product launches and a large portion of our license volumes are signed already."

As the world's premier supplier of speech output solutions to the automotive and portable navigation industries, SVOX sells its products to customers in more than 20 countries. The company's customer list comprises names such as Audi, Chrysler, BMW, Destinator, Elektrobit, Medion, Mercedes-Benz, Navigon, Nissan, Nokia, Porsche and Volkswagen.

SVOX has been profitable since 2005 and has been expanding its product range into more and more embedded applications. Volker Jantzen explains: "We are proud of our close interaction with our customers. To best fulfill their requirements is our mission". For this reason, SVOX recently added speech recognition and the revolutionary HMM-based TTS product SVOX Pico to its offerings.

Currently, the company forecasts an increase in revenues of more than 50 percent for 2008, and plans to hike its investments in research and development accordingly.
