SVOX, the international specialist in embedded speech output solutions, maintained its rapid growth for the first six months of 2006. So far this year, SVOX has seen revenues jump by nearly 40 percent, compared to those of 2005, thereby surpassing its own ambitious goals.

Volker Jantzen, CEO of SVOX says: "SVOX has proven to be one of the most dynamic software companies in the speech industry. What's more, our growth has been accompanied by a rising stream of new contracts. This, taken in combination with our significant increase in license income, makes it natural to expect SVOX will experience such accelerated growth again in the second half of the year."

Norman Rohr, the SVOX Director of Finance and Operations, attributes the company's continuous success primarily to market growth and its unique positioning within the marketplace. "In fact," he affirms, "our unique focus on high-quality embedded speech output solutions for automotive and mobile industries has earned us a reputation as a knowledgeable and responsive development partner. In working with us, our customers know they are dealing with leading experts in the field. Moreover, they can focus their energies on other priorities."

SVOX's ground focus, which is also underlined by the company's new claim "Speech in Motion", has resulted in numerous large-scale deployments. The company has already spread word about its cooperation with several automotive Tier-1 earlier this year and plans to do several similar announcements to follow over the next months.
