Nach dem Kick-Off Hackathon-Wochenende am 6. und 7. April in München hatten die Teilnehmer sechs Wochen Zeit, um ihre kreativen Ideen umzusetzen. Die Preisverleihung sowie Ausstellung der Projekte finden am 18. Mai in der Tafelhalle in Nürnberg statt. Als Jury Mitglied mit dabei: Fabrizio Palmas, der bereits bei den Creators‘ Labs als Mentor fungierte und an künstlerischen Virtual Reality Projekten wie Fever und Sublimation beteiligt ist.
Fabrizio Palmas ist Unity Certified Developer und Professional Scrum Master, sowie Dozent an der Hochschule für angewandtes Management (HAM) und an der Technischen Universität München (TUM), an der er ebenfalls im Fachbereich der Informatik promoviert. Durch seine Forschung in den Bereichen Extended-Reality (XR), Gamification und Motivation gehört er zu den Experten immersiver Technologien und veröffentlichte bereits viele Fachpublikationen.
Die Spannung steigt welche Endergebnisse bei der Coding Da Vinci Süd 2019 entstanden sein werden und wie sich Fabrizio Palmas und die restliche Jury entscheiden wird. Dadurch wird ein weiterer Schritt getan sein, um kulturellen Institutionen den Weg zu offenen Daten zu erleichtern und unser kulturelles Erbe für jeden digital zugänglich zu machen.
