Among four others Fabrizio Palmas – creative and technical director at straightlabs GmbH & Co. KG – will be part of the jury at Coding Da Vinci Süd 2019. Codind Da Vinci is the first German culture-hackathon for open culture data. After the kick-off-hackathon-weekend on 6th and 7th April the participants had six weeks to realize their creative ideas. The prize-givingas well as the exposition of the projects takes place on 18th May in the Tafelhalle in Nuremberg. On board as member of the jury: Fabrizio Palmas, who has already acted as a mentor at the Creators’ Labs and is taking part in artistical virtual reality projects like Fever and Sublimation.

Fabrizio Palmas is Unity Certified Developer and Professional Scrum Master, as well as a lecturer at the University for Applied Management (HAM) and at the Technical University Munich (TUM), where he is currently doing his Ph.D. in informatics. Excitement is building up about which final results will have emerged from Coding Da Vinci Süd 2019 and how Fabrizio Palmas and the rest of the jury will decide. Therefore, another step will have been taken towards easing the way for cultural institutions towards open data and making our cultural heritage digitally accessible for everyone.
