Platform Screen Doors sind zwischen Bahnsteigboden und decke eingepasste Glastürelemente, die Station und Gleisbereich sicher trennen. Transportmittel halten exakt auf Höhe der Automatiktüren, die synchron mit den Zugtüren öffnen und schließen. Bei technischen Problemen in den Waggons können die Trennwände von der Gleisseite über die STUVNotauslösevorrichtung intuitiv geöffnet werden. Die neuen Einrichtungen beugen Unfällen, Zuglärm und Müllansammlungen vor und bewirken außerdem erhebliche Energieeinsparungen bei klimatisierten Bahnhöfen. Zusätzlicher ökonomischer Faktor sind kürzere Stationsaufenthalte der Züge durch höhere Ein- und Ausfahrgeschwindigkeiten.
Das neue Anti-Panik-Verriegelungssystem wurde als kundenspezifische Lösung mit Stoßgrifflängen von 805 - 1.140 mm konzipiert und kann links und rechts verwendet werden. Anpassungen an abgeänderte Systeme sind auf Anfrage möglich. Der Pushbolt wurde gemäß EN 1125:2008 (D) geprüft und zugelassen.
