SPEECH DESIGN and Vierling Communications today announced that in the future they will offer Vierling’s Ecotel VTM pro multichannel GSM gateway and SPEECH DESIGN’s Teleserver Mobile Pro together as a package. Mobile Pro enables increased mobility and accessibility for company employees. The system integrates employee mobile phones into a company’s fixed-network environment. At the same time, Ecotel VTM pro reduces the cost of calls between mobile phones and Mobile Pro using efficient algorithms for routing calls between mobile phones. At Vierling’s Autumn Fair from September 20-22, both companies will present the combination of Mobile Pro and VTM pro for the first time ever to an international industry audience.
Mobile phone becomes mobile extension

Teleserver Mobile Pro turns a mobile phone into a mobile extension. Users can be reached wherever they go at a single extension. They can also transfer calls from a mobile phone and set up conference calls. Call forwarding can be switched on and off from on the road without incurring any charges. Mobile Pro provides a common mailbox for the fixed network and mobile phone which can also be accessed from a PC. Using the features of Mobile Pro from employee mobile phones requires paid calls between Mobile Pro and the mobile phones. When using Ecotel VTM pro, however, the call charges drop considerably since the gateway replaces costly fixed network to mobile radio calls with inexpensive mobile radio to mobile radio calls. The gateway has its own mobile radio modules and antennas and can be fitted with SIM cards from different carriers. Depending on the rate for the SIM card that is used, the call will be either free or considerably less expensive. “By combining Ecotel VTM pro with Mobile Pro, all of the features of Mobile Pro are made available on mobile phones in a very cost-effective manner”, noted Wolfgang Peter, managing director of Vierling Communications. “This should boost the appeal of Mobile Pro for even more companies.”
