SOLON AG wins first major order from Greece

Berlin-based SOLON AG, one of Europe's leading manufacturers of solar modules and photovoltaic systems, has won its first major order in the Greek market. The agreement that has just been signed with Hypervolt Renewable Energy S.A., Larissa/Greece, provides for the supply of solar modules totaling 10 MWp during 2008/2009. These are to be used in the construction of power stations in Greece. Hypervolt Renewable Energy S.A. is a subsidiary of the German company Stelio Solar GmbH & Co. KG, whose core business is the development and financing of photovoltaic projects.
