The certified integration allows customers using the SAP NetWeaver Exchange Infrastructure (SAP NetWeaver XI) to interact with screen-based legacy applications without accessing or otherwise disturbing the applications' underlying legacy code. This capability enables customers to harness the valuable functionality of mission-critical legacy applications without degrading real-time system performance or having to understand the structure of the systems' business logic.
