Software AG, the leading independent provider of Business Infrastructure Software, has appointed Holger Friedrich to the Management Board with responsibility for global Professional Services. Mr. Friedrich will join the company as of October 1st, 2008 bringing with him fifteen years experience in the Professional Services industry.
Prior to joining Software AG, Mr. Friedrich was with McKinsey & Company, SAP AG and SPM Technologies GmbH.
Mr. Friedrich was a co-founder and CEO of SPM Technologies GmbH from 1994, growing the company to over 250 employees, until their acquisition by SAP SI in 2003. SPM Technologies specialized in offering consulting services focusing on IT architecture and system integration. After two years as Senior Vice President at SAP AG, Mr. Friedrich joined McKinsey & Company as partner responsible for the European IT Architecture Practice.
