The CC Science 2009 conference will be held on September 15-16 of this year. The motto of the two-day conference is "Stay in touch with the future," and it addresses corporate leaders at medium-sized companies and ITC industry decision-makers from Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Leipzig-based itCampus Software- und Systemhaus is organizing CC Science 2009 for the fourth time. The Software AG subsidiary will introduce the latest communications solutions from its ELSBETH product suite at the manufacturer-independent event. Ivo Totev, Head of Global Consulting Services at Software AG, will open the CC Science conference in Leipzig on September 15, 2009.
Building bridges between research and real-world applications-that is the primary objective of the CC Science 2009 conference. The conference program focuses on the topics "future, science, business and real-world application," with presentations given by leading figures in the business and scientific communities. Speakers include managers from Axel Springer, Teleperformance and Munich's Ludwig Maximilian University. Organizers anticipate approximately 250 participants, including top managers from Chrysler Deutschland, Medion, Deutsche Post as well as Schwäbisch Hall, T-Systems and 1&1.
CC Science 2009 enjoys the patronage of the University of Leipzig, the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg, the Leipzig Chamber of Industry and Commerce, the German Association for Small and Medium-Sized Businesses (BVMW) as well as a number of professional associations. And Software AG is also providing support: Ivo Totev, Head of Global Consulting Services with the Darmstadt-based IT company, will open the CC Science 2009 conference together with Dr. Andreas Lassmann, CEO of itCampus, and Kai-Werner Fajga, Managing Director of TeleTalk.
Dr. Andreas Lassmann, CEO of itCampus: "Within a few short years, CC Science has established itself in German-speaking countries as an important platform for promising technologies and strategies in the client communications field. Particularly in the crisis year of 2009, we want to send a signal from Leipzig: Every company needs to reinstate customer communication and dialog as the central task of its management.
Ivo Totev, Head of Global Consulting Services at Software AG: "Companies that compete in a dynamic market are increasingly challenged by the question of how to implement and deploy IT applications. They can often only make assumptions about long-term future needs. The key is to establish process knowledge and flexibility-which is only possible through a dialog with customers, for example, like the opportunity provided by the CC Science conference."
Mario Ohoven, President of the German Association for Small and Medium-Sized Businesses (BMVW) and patron of the CC Science 2009 conference: "Rapid technological progress and changing customer expectations present companies with new challenges that they have to overcome. I'm particularly pleased that the CC Science 2009 conference specifically addresses medium-sized businesses. They've earned the right to have a higher profile in the discussion about staying in touch with the future."
