At CeBIT 2011, Software AG presents its new positioning, which will focus on software and solutions for enterprise business process management. It delivers an unparalleled level of flexibility, scalability and rapid adaptation while maintaining the highest process quality. Software AG is demonstrating its fully integrated product portfolio, for the first time since its acquisition of IDS Scheer, under the name Enterprise BPM and is establishing itself as the world's largest provider of this innovative platform technology.
Numerous new product innovations in business processes, integration, IT modernization and process intelligence underscore Software AG's claim to leadership in this technology sector. In addition, new products for master data management and complex event processing will be presented at CeBIT and new IT trends such as cloud technology will be integrated to add value for the customer. Software AG's cloud concept seamlessly connects new cloud solutions with established corporate IT. As an unlimited collaboration platform, it facilitates faster development and changes to business processes through the immediate participation of all participants.
Karl-Heinz Streibich, CEO of Software AG: "The transformation to a true 'digital enterprise' will be the business challenge of the next decade. Enterprise BPM, the implementation of a flexible process and integration layer across company departments, suppliers and partners, will be the key enabling technology. This transformation has already started and will radically change the way our customers do business. This market is growing dynamically and can propel Software AG into the top tier of global software vendors."
To implement this strategy, Software AG is presenting an array of product innovations, a fully integrated portfolio for business process excellence and a comprehensive cloud initiative. The goal: to support enterprise clients in optimizing their business process modeling and monitoring and to recognize and correct operational problems in seconds. This route leads to the fully digital enterprise, already advocated by key industry analysts, and already being prepared by innovation leaders in many industries.
Products - Innovative process and integration platforms enable the companywide networking of business processes and their management in real-time. Software AG will introduce its new process and integration platform at CeBIT. It includes the complete integration of both the company 's new product groups, ARIS (for modeling business processes and real-time monitoring) and webMethods (business process management), as well as new components for complex event processing and master data management. Integration is based on the Model-to-Execute approach, which enables the transition of business process models into IT execution models based on a simple and clear methodology. The key feature is the integration of webMethods' monitoring of technical functions and ARIS's monitoring of business operations.
This will give customers a complete solution that covers the entire lifecycle of their business processes - from design to realization, execution and monitoring through to perpetual optimization. Software AG's traditional data management products have also been expanded and integrated with the ARIS product family. For example, the Natural programming environment now offers process-driven IT modernization with new functions for intelligent business processes and expanded process management capabilities.
Cloud initiative - "Software AG Cloud Ready" is the name for the company's cloud concept presented at CeBIT. With this new offering, the entire lifecycle of a business process will be cloud-enabled. The simplified collaboration between all stakeholders in a process is one key success factor that sharply improves cooperation between IT and business departments as well as between different levels of management and experts in and outside the company. The goal: adapting business processes faster in order to meet the market's constantly changing demands.
At our booth in Hall 4, D11, visitors can experience what excellent processes mean. The Reference Walk presents a tour of projects from Software AG customers who have achieved greater business success with the help of innovative software solutions. One example using the topic of Smart grids presents the intelligent use of power grids with the help of "smart" applications from Software AG.
