x-tention takes over the majority of soffico GmbH

x-tention Informationstechnologie GmbH based in Wels (Austria) recently purchased 71 percent of the software company soffico from Augsburg. This cooperation strengthens the position of both companies within one of the most important and exciting IT market segments.

x-tention and soffico have been collaborating closely since 2011. In order to meet the customer requirements, which arise due to the growth of networking and intersectional communication, the two companies are now taking a further step: x-tention Informationstechnologie GmbH takes over the majority of soffico GmbH. soffico’s managers Professor Dr. Bernd Hafenrichter and Harald Wenger have maintained a significant stake in the company.

soffico’s „Open Digital Business Platform“ Orchestra offers almost unlimited possibilities to fully integrate companies’ internal and external IT systems to benefit their entire value chain. Withing the area of digitalization Orchestra combines people, systems and things and hence provides a platform that offers specific just in time information. Orchestra enables agile, digital transformations and creates strategic competitive advantages for organizations and companies thanks to well mapped-out, flexible processes.

This step emphasises our future-orientated and innovative approach regarding both companies, particularly within the healthcare market. However soffico will continue to be a reliable partner for the manufacturing, banking and finance industries.
