Kunststoffe im Sport- und Freizeitbereich

SKZ - Das Kunststoff-Zentrum und das Kompetenzzentrum Sport, Gesundheit, Technologie veranstalten auch in diesem Jahr wieder eine gemeinsame Tagung in der Reihe "Kunststoffe im Sport- und Freizeitbereich" unter dem Motto "Mit Kunststoffen zu mehr Nachhaltigkeit".

Sport ohne Kunststoffe ist heute nicht mehr denkbar - es gibt sogar Statistiken, die den Bereich der Sportartikel als den größten Markt für Kunststoffe ausweisen. Mit Sicherheit stellt der Sport eine der größten Herausforderungen für die Kunststoffbranche dar, denn hier stehen neben den üblichen materialspezifischen Entwicklungsproblemen auch Parameter wie z. B. Funktionalität, Design und - immer bedeutsamer - ökologische Nachhaltigkeit auf der Liste der zu erfüllenden Nebenbedingungen.

In sechs Blöcken wird das Thema Nachhaltigkeit und realisierte Gesamtkonzepte ganzheitlich, d. h. "from cradle to grave", betrachtet: Von der Entwicklung eines Produktes über dessen Herstellung mit Zulieferkette, der Vertriebsphase bis hin zur Entsorgung.
