Skype today announced that it has selected tekVizion Labs(TM) as the independent and objective verification and testing service to run the Skype for SIP Interoperability Certification Program. In addition, Skype and tekVizion Labs together announced a number of thirdparty IP PBX and gateway solutions to have been newly awarded Skype for SIP interoperability certification.
tekVizion Labs has been introduced to the Skype partner community as the interoperability experts to help expedite Skype for SIP interoperability testing and certification. In addition to Skype for SIP interoperability testing, tekVizion Labs can provide consulting, integration and support services to Skype's customers and partners and the systems integrators and value added resellers they work with.

These Skype calls are received by the existing PBX or UC system and are handled or directed in the same way as any other inbound caller.
