Der Telekommunikationsanbieter sipkom, Anbieter von weltweit erreichbaren lokalen Rufnummern zu Ortsnetzkonditionen, erweitert seine Services: So vertiefte sipkom die bereits bestehende Partnerschaft mit Nimbuzz und ist nun Premiumpartner des Kommunikationsservices für mobile Internet-Telefonie. Vor allem die in der Mobiltelefonie immer stärker genutzte VOIP-Technologie wird dadurch bei den sipkom-Services stärker ausgebaut und leichter zugänglich gemacht. Nimbuzz bietet einen umfassenden Kommunikationsservice mit mobilem VoIP und Schnittstellen zu vielen Instant Messaging Tools wie Skype, Yahoo! Messenger, AIM oder ICQ an.

Weitere Vereinfachungen für sipkom-Kunden: Um eine Konfiguration auf das sipkom-Netzwerk zu erleichtern, ist sipkom in den neuen AVM Fritzbox-Routern bereits per Voreinstellung im Setup integriert. Damit Nutzer die sipkom-Dienste noch komfortabler anwenden können, bietet das Unternehmen außerdem Services wie den Online-Kundenbereich sipkomPro oder die Anwendungen sipkomCallThrough oder sipkomFax.
