The federal data protection act requires the appointement of a data security officer, if more than nine employees work with personal data within a company.
A data collection already takes place by writing a business letter with address data of the customer.
For this reason, our employee Christian Rosenberger was appointed of the management as interior data security officer end of 2010.
The necessary qualification has been achieved by the IHK Niederbayern in Passau.
The tasks of a data security officer contain besides consulting the management in data protection legally matters, also the implement of different measures, therewith the dealing with the data of our customers and also employees takes place conformable to the federal data protection act.
These includes, that the data security of EDP is observed by the data security officer.
Especially the protection of personal data of our business partners is important for us. Therefore in future, step by step several measures will be taken to increase the security of the data and also our employees will be sensitised for the data protection by trainings.
