Recently, the first highperformance centre for physical noble metal in Europe was developed in Munich. The group of companies Pro Aurum built a new trading centre for gold at the airfield of the ancient airport Munich-Riem.
In the new "goldhouse" the longest produced Simon smoke protect curtain up to now with a total length of 34 metres and a crawling length of nearly 3 metres was attached. The smoke protect curtain "Simon Smoke PROtec" contains altogether seven fairlead components, which are triggered by RSV 500 Master-Slave control panels. An expansion of flue gases into the open interior in case of fire is therefore avoided.
The Simon Smoke PROtec assumes consequently an important function in a chain of fire preventions, which redound to the safety in the building.
