Especially the signature software "DIGISign", developed in cooperation with DATEV Austria, greatly simplifies the entry into a digital signature process. DIGISign is serving the clients of the tax chancellery to electronically sign documents – so that these documents do not have to be printed, scanned and filed anymore. The PDF document to be signed is marked in the DATEV DMS, signed on the pad and automatically archived at the client’s office.
"Tax consultants are working more and more digitally with their clients. Whether in communication, in the transfer of documents or in connection with electronic signatures. Modern, digital solutions are saving the tax chancelleries time and money," says Mr. Brunmayr, authorised signatory and head of sales and marketing at DATEV Austria. "With the electronic signature, tax consulting companies are taking another important step into the digital world. The printing and scanning of documents are a matter of the past," Mr. Brunmayr continues.
In this way, tax consulting companies optimise their signature process, increase their degree of digitalisation and avoid a digital-analogue media break. Furthermore, they consolidate a modern, digital and sustainable image of the tax chancellery.
It is pleasant to see that some tax consulting companies are already setting a good example and sharing their positive experiences with their colleagues in the sector. In many cases, this is the first step in dealing with already existing and established technologies and the enormous savings potential, despite previous concerns. Once this potential has been recognised, the actual implementation within one's own environment is only the last small step.
