The VARIO Software AG is a software company from Neuwied at the Rhine, which offers a comprehensive and industry-independent ERP software for small and medium-sized enterprises in the DACH region. The company now exists for more than 25 years and its solutions cover, among other things, wide-ranging areas of merchandise management, e-commerce and CRM.

In the past, customers increasingly approached VARIO with the request for an electronic signature solution. The decisive factor for its implementation was finally the specific request of a building materials wholesaler who was looking for an ERP system that supports the digitalisation of delivery notes. The compatibility between the ERP system and the electronic signature solution was the basic requirement for commissioning the VARIO software. "The VARIO software has a modular structure and is individually tailored to the needs of the customers. So it was clear to us that we would find a solution for the prospective client, who has since become a satisfied customer.", says Hendrik Schneider, authorised signatory of VARIO Software AG. With the connection of the signotec signature pads to the VARIO software solutions, the crucial foundations were laid for this.

The solutions from signotec work perfectly with the VARIO software, the installation at the customer's site as well as the connection to the VARIO ERP system went smoothly. "signotec and VARIO are excellent team players - the simple, fast and secure operation of the signature pad matches the user-friendliness of the VARIO software. All together, the result is a well-rounded overall picture that makes the customer's everyday work much easier.", concludes Hendrik Schneider.

But what does the interaction between the two solutions actually look like? Tradesmen and end customers purchase their goods from the building materials wholesaler's warehouse. After commissioning, the delivery note appears directly in the VARIO ERP system and is signed using the signotec signature pad. After the signature has been executed and saved, it is automatically placed in the designated position on the delivery note. If desired, it can now be sent via e-mail and archived. This digital signature procedure not only saves a lot of paper, but also simplifies the bureaucracy of the everyday life. The biggest advantage, however, is that no delivery note gets lost and that it can be retrieved at any time.
