LED-based festoon lamps in the dimensions Ø 6 x 31 and 6 x 39 mm

(PresseBox) (Niefern-Öschelbronn, )
With the new MSOC 06 LED festoon lamp series, Signal-Construct now offers all the usual types of tube lights and festoon lamps as a LED version.

With this addition of the successful MSOC 08 series with the dimensions Ø 8 x 31 and 39 mm, as well as the MSOC / MSOE 11 versions as Ø 10.5 x 39 and 43 mm types, it is effortless possible to cover the range of use of incandescent lamps from 2 to 7 watts.

The efficiency of up to 70 Lm / Watt achieved for this product range corresponds to an energy saving of 65% compared to an ordinary festoon lamp. Due to the Fresnell structure of the housing or housing coloring, radiation angles of approx. 160° are also achieved. This makes the products particularly suitable for use in intercom, mailbox and nurse call systems (hospitals), as well as in elevators or as backlighting for information signs.

In addition to the classic light colours white and warm white, the complete range can also be supplied in red, yellow, green and blue. The standard operating voltages are 12/14 V and and 24/28 V. Special voltages up to 70 V can also be realised.

All types also have full suitability for AC operation, which is achieved by an integrated rectification and does not require attention to the polarity in DC operation. In addition, an improved moisture and corrosion protection is performed by a coating applied to the circuit boards, which further extends the area of application of the lamps.

The lamp range is also rounded off by new, compact lamp holders for screw terminal connections. If the central hole is used for fastening, the side tabs can be separated and thus the base of the socket can be shortened.
