Das Sharkoon USB2.0 FlexiDrive Value wartet mit einem neuen Design und zusätzlichen Features auf. Der mobile Datenträger ist bootfähig, sofern das eingesetzte Mainboard diese Funktion unterstützt. Die beiliegende Foxmail-Software ermöglicht Mailverkehr an jedem Windows-PC mit Internetzugang. Der Nutzer kann unter anderem eine verschlüsselte, lokale Mailbox samt Adressbuch anlegen und mehrere Accounts mit unabhängigen Einstellungen verwalten. Unterstützt wird ebenfalls eine Import/Exportfunktion zu MS Outlook und Exchange. Über das Security-Tool können ein Passwortschutz eingestellt sowie öffentliche und gesicherte Partitionen erstellt werden. Am Stick befindet sich zudem ein Schreibschutz-Schalter.
Das Sharkoon USB2.0 FlexiDrive Value liest mit max. 8 MB/s, schreibt mit max. 7 MB/s und unterstützt Plug&Play.
Der kompakte USB-Stick besteht aus schwarzem Kunststoff und wiegt ca. 17 Gramm. Im Lieferumfang sind Treiber für Windows 98, Software-Tools, Handbuch (englisch und deutsch), USB-Verlängerungskabel und Trageband enthalten. Der Datenträger ist in Ausführungen mit unterschiedlich hohen Speicherkapazitäten bis derzeit 1 GB erhältlich.
