Doch auch abseits von eigens dafür eingerichteten Labortests demonstrieren Selbstfahrer unter authentischen Bedingungen wegweisende Werte. Selbstfahrer der Firma Sgariboldi etwa erzielen im Praxiseinsatz eine Futtermenge von bis zu 50 t die Stunde - Mischzeit und Fahrtzeit bereits mit eingerechnet.
In der Biogasanlage bei Köthen ist derzeit ein Sgariboldi Combi 6014 im Einsatz. Herr Meuer, verantwortlicher Betriebsleiter, zeigt sich beeindruckt: "Unser Combi 6014 macht 5 Mischungen mit á 5.5 t in einer Stunde - dies sind 27.5 t pro Stunde bei etwa 45% Fahrtzeit. Unter den gleichen Bedingungen wie beim Weltrekord würden wir in maximal 7 Minuten ca. 6 t fräsen, mischen, transportieren und ausladen. Das sind etwas mehr als 8 Mischungen, oder gute 50 t pro Stunde. Auf 24 Stunden hochgerechnet ergibt dies 1.224 t. Anfang Oktober bekommen wir einen Grizzly 8130-2 BioBot - dann sind 50 t Mischfutter im realen Einsatz möglich!"
Der Grizzly BioBot von Sgariboldi ist speziell für Biogasanlagen konzipiert und befindet sich in dieser Variante bereits im Einsatz.
