SFC Energy, a leading provider of hybrid power solutions to the stationary and mobile power generation markets, announces the extension of the current sales and service agreement of their Canadian subsidiary Simark Controls Ltd. with Schneider Electric to include Eastern Canada. In the context of the agreement, Simark Controls will now sell Schneider Electric’s Telemetry & Remote SCADA Solution (TRSS) products across Canada. Product lines include SCADAPack, RealFLO, RealLIFT, 4000 Series Transmitters, Trio Radios, and Accutech Sensors.

To better support their commitment in Eastern Canada, Simark Controls has opened a new sales and service office in Montreal, QC, Canada. From here, Simark Controls will support customers in Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and New Brunswick.

Telemetry & Remote SCADA Solutions (TRSS) enable operators to efficiently monitor and control field equipment and operations across widely dispersed infrastructures. Applications range from simple reservoir level measurement in the water and waste water industries to complex well pad optimization and other production based processes in the oil & gas industry.

Simark Controls and SFC Energy expect continued synergies from this territory extension where Telemetry & Remote SCADA Solutions require reliable off-grid power. For this application, Simark Controls offers a range of integrated, fully autonomous, power supply solutions based on SFC Energy’s popular EFOY Pro fuel cells.

“We are excited to take our existing partnership with Simark Controls to this next level and build upon our recent combined success in Western Canada," said Martin Stephenson, Vice President of Process Automation at Schneider Electric Canada. “Combining Simark Controls’ customer-focused approach to delivering and supporting world-class innovative solutions with our legacy in water and waste water, mining and oil & gas industries strengthens our position as a valued partner to these customers. We now have clear, top-class national coverage for telemetry and SCADA solutions across all provinces."

“Schneider Electric’s leading SCADA products coupled with our market expertise and commitment for high quality solutions, and services provides unique advantages to all of our customers”, says Mark Wheeler, President of Simark Controls. “We are excited to now bring this offering to Eastern Canada.”
