Mit operativem Sitz in Madrid gehört RCR Industrial Flooring zu den weltweit führenden Anbietern von innovativen Industrieböden und verfügt über eine starke Positionierung durch die kombinierte Produkt- und Applikationskompetenz. Zum Kundenstamm von RCR zählen weltweit führende Unternehmen, u.a. aus den Bereichen Groß- und Einzelhandel, Logistik, Automotive und Lebensmittel. In 2019 wird RCR voraussichtlich Umsatzerlöse in Höhe von € 170 Mio. erzielen.
Für Serafin stellt der Abschluss der Transaktion einen weiteren Erwerb im Bereich Bodenbeläge dar. Bereits 2013 hat die Unternehmensgruppe aus München den Schweizer Sportbodenhersteller Conica von BASF erworben. RCR und Conica werden zukünftig weiterhin als eigenständige Unternehmen in ihren jeweiligen Kernsegmenten auftreten.
Serafin ist als familiengeführte Industriegruppe an einer langfristigen Entwicklung interessiert und wird gemeinsam mit dem CEO Emilio Esteban und seinem Team an der Umsetzung der geplanten Strategie arbeiten. Mit Abschluss der Transaktion kann sich RCR auf neue strategische Initiativen und auf den weiteren Wachstumskurs fokussieren.
