Extendable STW displays for mobile machines

(PresseBox) (Kaufbeuren, )
Sensor-Technik Wiedemann (STW) is presenting the first extension boards for their VSX display family at this year’s Agritechnica in Hannover. The VSX displays in sizes 8”, 10” and 12” are available today in the Basic, Advanced and Professional equipment versions. The Professional version allows the realization of additional functions through the extension boards.

At the Agritechnica, STW is exhibiting the first extension boards which can be used in displays for safety-relevant applications for additional inputs and outputs, or which also supply wired and wireless interfaces. Besides a high level of robustness and quality, optimized operability and various installation possibilities, flexibility is yet another outstanding feature of the VSX series which has been especially designed for demanding applications in the market of mobile machines.

Together with various display sizes and operating versions, the user-friendly development and support tool DevKit ensures scalability within the family and reusability of the software. Furthermore, the VSX family is integrated into the new STW System Lifecycle Management environment openSYDE together with the ESX control units, which will likewise be demonstrated at the Agritechnica. Together with the control units, sensors, telematics modules and components for the electrical vehicle drive, a VSX display additionally used in the trade fair demonstrator “SymonE” can be experienced at Stand F49 in Hall 15 as an example of a digitalized, automated and electrified machine.
