Seiko Instruments stellt die neue Generation Smart Label Printer® vor. Das Original von Seiko Instruments ist mit 3 Modellen flexibler geworden. Die SLP600 Serie bietet unterschiedliche Geschwindigkeiten, Auflösungen und Anschlussmöglichkeiten. Die Thermodirektdrucker benötigen keine Tinte oder Toner. Mit der SLP600 Serie können Grafiken, Barcodes, Firmenlogos und Schriftarten aus Windows® oder Mac® Anwendungen in ein Etikettenformat importiert werden. Seiko Instruments bietet das größte Sortiment an unterschiedlichen Etikettengrößen und Lösungen auf Papier.

    Der Smart Label Printer® 620 ist mit 70mm/s und 203 dpi Auflösung das ideale Einstiegsmodel für den täglichen Etikettendruck im Büro.

    Der Smart Label Printer® 650 verfügt mit 300dpi über eine höhere Auflösung und ist mit 100mm/s die schnellere Variante, um auch besondere Anforderungen im Bereich Industrie oder Gesundheitswesen zu lösen. Für hohe Druckmengen steht in Kürze ein Tray für große Rollen zur Verfügung.

Die Geschichte von Seiko beginnt 1881, als der erst 21-jährige Unternehmer, Kintaro Hattori, ein Uhrengeschäft im Zentrum von Tokio eröffnet. Nur elf Jahre später gründet er die "Seikosha"-Fabrik und die Fertigung von Wanduhren beginnt. Im Jahre 1895 folgt die Produktion seiner ersten Taschenuhr. 1913 führt er die erste Armbanduhr in Japan ein und 1969 stellt Seiko die weltweit erste Quarz-Uhr vor.

Seiko Instruments, das größte Unternehmen innerhalb der Seiko Holdings Group, wird 1937 gegründet und ist einer der führenden Hersteller von Thermodruckern. Die Seiko Instruments GmbH ist seit 1983 als Vertriebsorganisation der Seiko Instruments Inc. (SII) in EMEA aktiv und vertreibt neben Thermodruckern u.a. Großformatdrucker, ICs, Quarze, Batterien und Röntgenfluoreszensspektrometer.

Die Seiko Instruments GmbH verfügt über ein OZL-Lager von 4000m2 in Flughafennähe bei Frankfurt sowie über einen Showroom von 250m2 am Standort Neu-Isenburg.
