Teuerster "Fussball" der Welt verkauft

Pünktlich zum Start der Europameisterschaft in Portugal am kommenden Sonnabend wurde heute der teuerste "Fußball" der Welt verkauft: die Internet-Adresse fussball.com. Für mehr als 20.000 Euro wechselte die Adresse auf der Domain-Börse Sedo.de ihren Besitzer. Käufer ist ein Freiburger Internet-Unternehmen, das unter der einprägsamen Adresse eine Fußball-Informationsseite und einen Online-Fußballmanager realisieren möchte.


Internet-Adressen, die so genannten Domains, werden in vielen Fällen für hohe Summen verkauft: 180.000 US-Dollar zahlte kürzlich ein Käufer bei Sedo.de für die Adresse commerce.com. Den absoluten Rekord hält die Domain business.com - sie fand im Jahr 2000, zu Hochzeiten des Internet-Hypes, für stolze 7,5 Millionen US-Dollar einen neuen Besitzer.
