Die travel-domains gehören mit 30.000 Registrierungen zu den erfolgreichen Neuen Top Level Domains.
Nur Firmen aus der Reisebranche und Touristik-Industrie dürfen travel-Domains registrieren.

Tralliance hat Städten und Gemeinden ihren Name bis vor kurzem unter .travel reserviert. Viele Städte, darunter Hamburg und Wiesbaden, haben
sich in dieser Phase ihre travel-domain gesichert. Diese Schutz-Periode ist abgelaufen. Jetzt kann zwar nicht jeder, aber jeder aus der Touristikbranche sich einen Städtenamen unter .travel registrieren.
