Mehr als 50 % der Firmen des Swiss Market Index (SMI) haben bereits eine Swiss-Domain beantragt. 71 % der Schweizer Banken registrierten bereits in der Sunrise Period, in der nur Markeninhaber Swiss-Domains bekommen können, mindestens eine Swiss-Domain für ihr Haus.

Mehr noch als für andere Branchen der Schweiz ist für Schweizer Finanzdienstleister und Banken die Herkunft ein Qualitätssiegel. Das spricht für die Registrierung von Swiss-Domains, die eindeutig und spontan dem Empfänger von E-mails und Besucher von Webseiten signalisieren, diese Bank oder dieser Finanzdienstleister ist aus der Schweiz.

Es ist zu erwarten, daß die Firmen des Swiss Market Index und die Banken auch bei der Allgemeinen Öffnung der Swiss-Domains, die am 11.1.2016 stattfindet, gut vertreten sein werden.
