Mit Uno-Domains zur Nr.1 werden

Die Sunrise Period der Uno-Domains hat am 9. Dezember begonnen. Die Landrush Period startet am 12. Februar, die General Availability am 19. März 2013.

Man sollte aber nicht bis zu den Anfangsdaten der jeweiligen Perioden warten, sondern bereits jetzt die gewünschten Domains vor-registrieren, damit die Chancen für den Wunschnamen so groß wie möglich sind. ICANN Registrar Secura bietet bereits jetzt die Möglichkeit der Registrierung für die Sunrise Period und der Vor-Registrierung für die "General Availibilty" an. Die Vor-Registrierung ist kostenfrei, aber verbindlich.

Mehrfachbewerbungen gehen in der Sunrise Period und Landrush Period der Uno-Domains in die Auktion. Bei der General Availability gilt "First comes, first serves".

Mit .Uno ist nicht die United Nations Organization gemeint, sondern .uno steht für "eins". Jeder, der sich oder seine Angebote als Nummer Eins oder erstrangig ansieht, sollte nach Wunsch der Registrierungstelle unter .Uno registrieren. In vielen Sprachen bedeutet "uno" eins, so daß die Marketingchancen durchaus gut sind.
