Schüco Alu Inside Nordic is a PVC-U window system for the construction of outward-opening windows. The design is certified by the Teknologisk Institut Aarhus and is particularly suitable for renovations and the modernisation of existing buildings. The available opening options include side-hung, 90° side-controlled, top-controlled and TopSwing windows. With an appearance typical to the Nordic market, the 7 and 11-chamber profile construction offers a narrow face width of 94.5 mm and maximum thermal insulation. With three drainage levels and patented aluminium profile rolling technology, windows suitable for low-energy buildings can thus be produced cost-effectively and on an industrial scale.

In Schüco Alu Inside Nordic, the patented composite construction uses aluminium bars to strengthen the profiles so effectively that there is no need for the usual steel reinforcements. An installer will appreciate this, particularly when installing a vent with triple glazing. This is because a Schüco Alu Inside window with triple glazing weighs about as much as a double-glazed window with a steel-reinforced profile system. With Schüco Alu Inside Nordic, triple glazing up to 52 mm is possible. With a basic depth of 82 mm, optimum division of the chambers ensures a pleasant inside temperature even in the depths of winter. In addition to thermal insulation with Uf values as low as 0.87 W/(m²K), this basic depth offers an additional benefit in terms of security - the fitting disappears deep within the Schüco Alu Inside Nordic profile and is well protected, thereby restricting the opportunities for thieves to gain access. State-of-the-art fittings technology with mushroom head locking points also makes it significantly more difficult for the windows to be lifted out. Fittings components with the screw fixing in an integrated screw port can be used for increased security requirements and an aluminium flat profile is also available for the screw fixing. Schüco Alu Inside Nordic windows offer a high level of sound reduction and weather resistance due to three independent drainage levels. They are also easy to maintain, as the window fitting in the closed, recessed fittings chamber is additionally protected from corrosion and dirt by a gasket. And for clients who combine energy-saving living with ecological responsibility, the construction, which does not have any steel or insulating foam, is 100% recyclable.

Fabrication benefits
Schüco Alu Inside Nordic windows can be fabricated easily and efficiently as, for example, the insertion and time-consuming screw-fixing of steel for stabilisation purposes is not required. Nevertheless, if steel reinforcement should be necessary due to high structural requirements, there is an additional reinforcement chamber available to accommodate the steel. Further fabrication benefits include attachment options for window sills and other supplementary profiles, as well as a glazing rebate equipped for the optional glass bonding.

Every possible requirement in terms of colour design can also be fulfilled with Schüco Alu Inside Nordic. The exclusive Schüco AutomotiveFinish surface finish technology offers brilliant metallic designs, which are otherwise only to be found in the automotive industry. Light Silver, Deep Bronze and Metallic Black are three new colours which are available immediately. With a selection of over 160 single colours and woodgrain finishes, the Schüco range of foils also provides a wide variety of design options.
