From 11 - 14 March 2010 the 3rd Solar Energy and Technologies Fair took place in Istanbul registering 22,192 visitors over four days. The proportion of international visitors lay at approx. 10%. A total of 199 exhibitors took part in this event which was targeted at both manufacturers and end users. Almost 45% of the participants came from abroad.
The Schmid Group and their Turkish sales partner PV Teknik were very satisfied with the resonance of visitors at their stand. Particular attention was paid to the process lines for the production of solar modules. This interest reflects the current market situation of the Turkish PV branch, which is practically already in the starting blocks and ready to commence production of modules.
