On May 21 and 22 the annual SCHEMA User Conference took place in the NCC West, the Nuremberg Convention Center. Specifically this means that more than 330 participants 10 partners with individual trade show booths had the chance to listen to a total of 21 hours of presentations and workshop program of which 9 were also translated simultaneously. The evening event in the Loftwerk offered opportunities for individual discussions.
Due to the positive feedback the producer of the XML editing system is very satisfied with its annual event. "We have close customer relationships – which is an important component to our success", states Stefan Freisler, CEO of SCHEMA. The participants share this opinion: "It would have been good to have had even more time to delve into the individual topics", is one visitor's feedback at the end of the SCHEMA event. "But even three days would eventually become too short. SCHEMA ST4 is incredibly versatile."
Marcus Kessseler, CEO of SCHEMA is committed to the two-day concept of the User Conference: "The first day should give an insight into the new developments of our editing system SCHEMA ST4 and thereby identify paths for the future: We introduced our Content Delivery Server and showed actual use cases in our workshops in the afternoon. Ten of our partners presented their companies and solutions in a special exhibition area and answered our customers' questions. We used the Loftwerk for an exchange of views while at the same time enjoying a culinary treat. The second day of the SUC focused on presentations by actual users, forums for discussion and research. For us this meant two days of many interesting impressions which also provided us with a lot of new ideas to think about!"
Stefan Freisler adds "We particularly thank our presenters who essentially contribute to our SCHEMA User Conference each year and our partners who also supported our concept of the 'special exhibition': Acrolinx GmbH, Across Systems GmbH, Adobe Systems GmbH, Dokuwerk KG, Doctima GmbH, HEITEC AG, Institut für technische Literatur AG, RWS Group Deutschland GmbH, T3 GmbH and TID Informatik GmbH.
Look forward to the SCHEMA Conference's 2015 concept. One thing is for sure: The NCC West and the Nuremberg exhibition center will be hosting SCHEMA and its event next year as well.
